Baron Corbin may be nearing a WWE return, even after publicly shooting down the rumors that surfaced in recent days.
Corbin’s name started making the rounds backstage again after Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that WWE had discussed bringing him back. Fightful Select later reported that Tom Pestock was wrapping up his commitments outside WWE.
Now, according to False Finish, WWE sources expect Corbin to return to the company “soon.”
Pestock responded to the reports on X this week, saying he had accepted eight shows in Europe and that his eye was still swollen after a match in Australia. He also mocked the idea that he had already wrapped up his commitments with other companies.
Since leaving WWE, Corbin has been wrestling as Bishop Dyer. He has worked for promotions such as MLW, CMLL, and WSW, while also forming The Skyscrapers with Donovan Dijak and winning the MLW World Tag Team Championship.
Corbin left WWE in late 2024 after the company opted not to renew his contract. At the time, he made it clear that he had not been fired, but had simply been told his deal would not be extended.

It remains unclear whether, if he returns, he would come back as Baron Corbin or keep using the Bishop Dyer name.
