Drew McIntyre to Represent WWE at 2023 Special Olympics

The WWE has confirmed that Drew McIntyre will be present at the 2023 Special Olympics World Games, scheduled to take place in Berlin, Germany from June 17 to June 25.

The event is expected to host over 7,000 athletes from 190 delegations.

McIntyre, who has been a Special Olympics ambassador since 2021, expressed his pride in the role and his anticipation for the event.

Drew McIntyre said: “The role of Special Olympics Global Ambassador is one I hold with immense pride. The athletes never fail to inspire and amaze everyone at WWE with their drive and positivity. Being in Berlin for the Special Olympics World Games in person alongside the thousands of athletes demonstrating their skills on a global stage will be an experience to remember.”

Meanwhile, McIntyre’s future with WWE remains uncertain as his contract is set to expire in early 2024, and no agreement on a new deal has been reached yet.
