The movie, which was initially slated for a May 2024 release, has been pushed back to July 26, 2024, according to a report by Variety. This delay means that fans will have to wait a bit longer to see Rollins make his big-screen debut in the MCU. The film, originally titled Captain America New World Order, underwent a name change as part of these recent developments.

Despite the delay, Rollins’ wrestling career remains in full swing. He is scheduled to defend his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Finn Balor at the Money in the Bank 2023 event. This delay in the film’s release has not impacted Rollins’ commitment to his wrestling career, and he continues to be a prominent figure in the WWE.
The MCU’s schedule reshuffle also affected other franchises, with movies from the Star Wars and Avatar brands experiencing similar delays. Deadpool 3, however, has been moved up to May 3, 2024, taking the original slot of Captain America Brave New World.
