Live coverage:

This week’s show kicks off with SmackDown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley making her entrance. Mike Rome makes his introduction. Adam Pearce is already in the ring, apparently with a belt on a table.

Pearce says that in recognition of all Ripley’s performance of late, she becomes the new holder of the WWE Women’s World Championship. Ripley celebrates. Dominik Mysterio appears to celebrate with Ripley, tucking the title around her waist, much to the audience’s boos.

Ripley asks Dominik to tell the audience how good she is. Dominik tries to point out that the boos from the audience are disrespectful to Ripley. He says that behind a successful woman like Ripley, there is a successful man like him. He plays the Cody Rhodes song, interrupting the party.

Upon arriving at the ring, Rhodes questions what the Wichita crowd wants to talk about. Rhodes says starting with Ripley, she’s starting a great legacy tonight, congratulating her. Rhodes says maybe they could talk about The Miz, who will face him tonight, but first he wants to see what happened last week. On the screen, it is shown the moment when Dominik slaps Rhodes after running away.

Dominik and Ripley make fun of Rhodes. Rhodes says he’d like to hear Brock Lesnar accept his challenge, but since that won’t happen for now, he wants to talk about the slap he took, so he’d like to have a match against Dominik at WWE Money in the Bank. Dominik says he isn’t afraid of Rhodes and that’s why he beat and humiliated him, just like he would anywhere. Rhodes says no one understood anything Dominik said, questioning him again about the challenge.

Ripley says his “Latin Heat” is better than anyone and he’s more of a man than everyone in the room, including Rhodes. Suddenly, The Miz appears from behind Rhodes, however, the “American Nightmare” attacks him in time. Dominik threatens to hit Rhodes, however, he retreats when he sees him quickly turn around. Rhodes throws Miz out of the ring. Dominik takes the opportunity to attack Rhodes again from behind, then fleeing. Ripley confirms that Dominik accepts the challenge for WWE Money in the Bank.

In the ring, Lynch greets the Wichita crowd. Lynch talks about the new titles introduced in the women’s division of WWE, stating that whoever holds the briefcase will have in their hands, at any time, the power to challenge the champions at any time. Lynch says he can now, so he wants the briefcase. Lynch says that a person threatened by power makes mistakes and she loves that, which is why she wants the briefcase. Lynch says that Trish Stratus is a scared person and that’s why she brought a guarantee named Zoey Stark to WWE Night of Champions. Plays Stark’s music.

Stark says that while Lynch may have won a lot of titles in WWE, she’s never beaten Stratus, and at Money in the Bank she’ll also see that she can’t beat her. Lynch recognizes that Stark was built like a pitbull, like a machine, however, she has no personality. Stark gets angry and says that Lynch only became famous for the fact that they broke her face and that’s why she now wants to pursue Stratus. Stark says that at WWE Money in the Bank Linch she will become famous again, as she will break his face again. Lynch challenges her to step into the ring. Plays the music of Chelsea Green.

Green excuses Stark and says the focus is now on Lynch. Green says the only reason that kept her from beating Lynch last week was to not eliminate Deville’s chances of getting a spot in the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Lynch says she’s tired of hearing bullshit and asks Green to know right away in the ring. Stark watches the fight from the entrance ramp.

Upon arriving at the ring, Rollins continues to hear the audience singing his song. Bálor fumes, questioning whether the audience is done. The audience continues to sing even louder. Bálor says he has something to say that has been stuck for seven years, so he tells the audience to shut up. The public doesn’t stop. Bálor says audiences should remember what happened seven years ago, when he beat Roman Reigns and Rollins, being the first WWE Draft pick, to become the first Universal Champion. The audience does not stop singing. Bálor gets angry and says that this is something serious. Rollins is laughing.

Rollins yells at Bálor what he has to say that’s so important he’s waited seven years to say. Bálor says his big moment seven years ago turned into the worst moment of his career. Rollins injured his biceps and sidelined him. Bálor says he understands the sport is for tough guys, but beyond having idiots sing his song today he has something to say. The audience sings again.

Bálor says Rollins is enjoying it all, but he says no one knows him. Bálor says Rollins took everything from him, but at WWE Money in the Bank, he’s the one who will take everything from Rollins, including his title. The audience sings again. Rollins starts laughing. Rollins says the audience rocks, but he says he’s not laughing at them, but at Bálor, as he’s wanted to see this for seven years.

Rollins says he’s made mistakes and done bad things, but says he’s also made history and moments fans will never forget.
