Austin Theory seemingly severed his alliance with tag team partner Grayson Waller during Waller’s match against Sheamus on the May 19, 2025, episode of WWE RAW. The apparent betrayal unfolded when Waller attempted to walk out of his contest with Sheamus.
Theory confronted Waller, blocking his exit and trying to usher him back into the ring. This distraction allowed Sheamus to attack Waller, delivering the Ten Beats of the Bodhran and subsequently a Brogue Kick for the victory. As Sheamus assaulted Waller, and following the conclusion of the match, Austin Theory was visibly laughing at Waller’s situation.
This incident follows recent weeks of growing tension between Theory and Waller, who are former WWE Tag Team Champions known as A-Town Down Under.

On a previous WWE RAW episode on May 5, Waller had substituted Theory into his own scheduled match against Sheamus without prior notice to Theory. During the May 19 match, Waller had also dismissively gestured for Theory to observe and “take notes.”
