WWE Confirms Major Change Involving Bayley

Bayley returned to WWE RAW with a new look and attitude, immediately attacking Becky Lynch and signaling her new target.

WWE Confirms Major Change Involving Bayley

The landscape of WWE RAW was shaken during the June 9 broadcast by the return of Bayley, who made her presence felt after a six-week hiatus by targeting the new Women’s Intercontinental Champion, Becky Lynch.

The comeback occurred while Lynch was in the ring addressing Lyra Valkyria. Sporting bright purple hair, Bayley emerged and ambushed the champion from behind. As Lynch attempted to retreat from the assault, she was cut off at ringside by Valkyria, who threw her back into the ring. Bayley then attempted to hit her finishing maneuver, the Rose Plant, but Lynch managed to escape through the audience.

Bayley’s attack serves as direct retaliation for a storyline that began before WrestleMania 41. She had been scheduled to team with Valkyria to compete for the Women’s Tag Team Championship, but a pre-match assault, later revealed to be orchestrated by Lynch, removed her from the bout. Lynch then took Bayley’s place, winning the titles alongside Valkyria before eventually turning on her partner. The animosity deepened when Lynch dethroned Valkyria for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship at Money in the Bank.

Following her return, Bayley took to social media to signal a shift in her perspective, posting a message that read, “You were never broken, you were becoming.” She made her intentions more explicit in a separate post aimed at the champion, stating, “Gonna make The Man my bitch #WWERaw.”

While Bayley’s focus is clearly on Lynch and her championship, her interaction with her former partner added another layer of intrigue. Valkyria appeared stunned by Bayley’s appearance, and a cold glance from the returning star toward Valkyria has left their future alignment uncertain.
