32-Year-Old Star Should Have Become the New Tribal Chief in WWE Instead of Solo Sikoa, Believes Veteran, and Face Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2024

A wrestling veteran has opened up about why another up-and-coming performer, and not Solo Sikoa, should have been the new Tribal Chief in WWE. Matt Morgan believes though Solo has been doing a great job in the role, Jacob Fatu would have been his pick as the new Tribal Chief of The Bloodline.

Solo Sikoa announced himself as The Tribal Chief in the closing moments of last week’s WWE SmackDown. He further asserted his dominance at MITB 2024, where he pinned Cody Rhodes, who teamed up with Randy Orton and Kevin Owens, to secure the win for him, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu.

This has more or less confirmed his spot at SummerSlam 2024 as the next challenger for Cody’s Undisputed WWE Title. Matt Morgan, however, believes the Stamford-based promotion should have headed in a different direction.

On the Gigantic Pop podcast, Morgan echoed the same sentiment when host Raj Giri mentioned how Jacob Fatu should have gotten the pin over Cody to set up a SummerSlam 2024 encounter. The former WWE star explained that as much as Solo Sikoa has improved as an overall talent, Jacob was still more deserving of the spot and should have been the new Tribal Chief.

“Me too. Way more, and no disrespect to Solo (Sikoa). He’s doing much better, he’s improving, he wasn’t given an easy position to pull off. He’s doing better at it. But again, Jacob (Fatu) would have been much better Tribal Chief, but that’s just me,”
