Big Spoilers for the Next Friday Night SmackDown
Due to the end of year festivities, starting with Christmas, WWE canceled Friday Night SmackDown on December 22nd, next Friday, in advance last night, right after the end of the show’s broadcast on FOX.
In total, five matches were held, in addition to major announcements regarding the WWE Royal Rumble and the first Friday Night SmackDown of 2024. See the results below:
LEIA MAIS:
– Santos Escobar defeated Bobby Lashley – WWE United States Championship #1 Contender’s Tournament. During the fight, Angel Garza and Humbero Carrillo helped Escobar, which ended up confirming his victory.
– Dragon Lee (c) defeated Butch – NXT North American Championship Match.
– In an in-ring segment, Randy Orton, AJ Styles and LA Knight say they want to face Roman Reigns at WWE Royal Rumble. A Triple Threat Match between them is announced for the first SmackDown of 2024, which will have a New Year’s Revolution theme.
– Bianca Belair, Michin, Zelina Vega and Shotzi defeated Damage CTRL – Holiday Havoc Match. After the match, Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre attacked Kairi Sane and Asuka.
– Kevin Owens defeated Carmelo Hayes – WWE United States Championship #1 Contender’s Tournament.
– AJ Styles defeated Solo Sikoa via DQ after interference from Roman Reigns. The Bloodline, Randy Orton, LA Knight and Styles got involved in a huge “brawl” after the fight, ending the show’s recordings.
