In a recent update to its active roster list on its official website, AEW removed the profile of former AEW World Championship holder MJF.

Initially this removal may have to do with the fact that MJF will be removed from television for a while due to the need to recover from several injuries.

MJF was defeated by Samoa Joe in the main event of AEW Worlds End 2023, after being attacked by Adam Cole, who revealed himself as The Devil, and his henchmen, ending his reign with the company’s main title.
