“This Will Be Insane!” – Revealed: The List of Roman Reigns’ Next Opponents

WWE’s Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns, following his successful title defense against LA Knight at Crown Jewel on November 4, is currently scheduled to appear in three upcoming WWE SmackDown events leading to the Royal Rumble next month. Sources from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter indicate that there are several contenders being considered to face Reigns at this high-profile event.

One of the potential opponents is Randy Orton, who recently made a comeback at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames. Orton, absent since May 2022 due to an injury, teamed up with Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn, and Seth “Freakin” Rollins in a WarGames match against Drew McIntyre and The Judgment Day. He also secured a victory in singles action against Dominik Mysterio on RAW.

Other wrestlers reportedly in consideration include LA Knight and Kevin Owens. Knight, who recently faced Reigns, was initially slated for a different trajectory as of last week. Owens, on the other hand, has been involved in a feud with Austin Theory and Grayson Waller since his move from “Raw” to “SmackDown.” Notably, Owens has a history with The Bloodline and had previously challenged Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at last year’s Royal Rumble.

The selection of Reigns’ opponent for the Royal Rumble is a topic of considerable interest among WWE fans, as it sets the stage for one of the year’s most anticipated wrestling events.
