WWE Just Made A Huge Announcement
WWE announced that SummerSlam 2026 will take place in Minneapolis at the U.S. Bank Stadium on August 1 and 2. This will be the first SummerSlam to be held over two nights, following the model of WrestleMania, which adopted the format in 2020.
Chris Legentil of WWE expressed enthusiasm about the chosen venue: “The U.S. Bank Stadium is a world-class venue, located in a city with a rich Pro Wrestling history and an incredible fan base.”
Michael Vekich of the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority also expressed satisfaction: “The U.S. Bank Stadium is honored to host WWE’s SummerSlam on Minnesota’s biggest stage in 2026.”
The announcement of SummerSlam 2026 in Minneapolis follows the successful ticket sales for SummerSlam 2024, which will take place in Cleveland.
