WWE 2K has confirmed a delay in the release of the celebrity guest planned for WWE 2K25’s “New Wave” downloadable content pack. The main pack, however, still launched as scheduled today, May 14th.
An official announcement from WWE regarding the celebrity’s new release timeline is expected in the “coming weeks.” As a make-good for this postponement, players have received in-game currency.
Despite the celebrity’s absence for now, the “New Wave” DLC enriches the WWE 2K25 roster. Wrestlers Stephanie Vaquer, Giulia, and The Motor City Machine Guns are available starting today.

This first DLC offering is obtainable through the game’s season pass. It is available across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms for players looking to expand their game. Strong rumors had identified musician Travis Scott as the likely celebrity guest. Scott has recently been visible at significant WWE live events, fueling this speculation.
Further reports suggest other personalities, including influencer KSI and NBA stars Jalen Brunson, Shaq, and Tyrese Haliburton, might appear in subsequent WWE 2K25 DLC packs.
