Wrestling Noticias is an independent professional wrestling news site founded in 2020 by Patricki Chites, Leonardo Cunha, and Ericki Chites. We started in Brazil with a simple goal: give wrestling fans reliable, timely coverage that’s easy to follow.
At the time, wrestling coverage for Portuguese-speaking audiences was still limited. Through consistent reporting and attention to detail, we built a loyal readership in Brazil and across South America, becoming one of the region’s best-known wrestling news sites.
One of our biggest milestones came in 2022, when Wrestling Noticias was recognized during a WWE special event broadcast (see the clip on WWE NXT UK’s official X account), a rare achievement for an outlet rooted in Portuguese- and Spanish-language markets.
After 2024, the limitations of the Brazilian wrestling market led us to shift our editorial focus to English-language coverage for readers in the United States, the world’s most influential market for professional wrestling. Since then, we’ve concentrated on serving those readers with the same commitment to accurate, accessible reporting that helped us build our audience in South America.
Over the years, we’ve covered WWE’s global growth, the rise of AEW, major changes in TNA, NJPW’s international expansion, and the continued importance of independent wrestling.
Today, we cover those promotions and the independent scene through breaking news, live results, event coverage, spoilers, rumors, and backstage updates. We also publish interviews, special features, analysis, and opinion.
Wrestling Noticias is owned and operated by Patricki Chites and Leonardo Cunha, who run the publication from Brazil. Co-founder Ericki Chites leads the site’s technical development. The site is funded by advertising, managed by Mediavine.
