WWE Finalizes Plans for AJ Styles’ Return

According to PWInsider Elite, WWE expects AJ Styles to receive medical clearance in time for Royal Rumble. The report indicates that Styles is scheduled to be in Indianapolis, Indiana for the event on Saturday.

Styles has been absent from WWE programming since October 4, when he sustained a foot injury during a match against Carmelo Hayes on SmackDown. WWE subsequently announced that he was dealing with a mid foot ligament sprain.

The potential return would coincide with Charlotte Flair’s previously confirmed appearance at Royal Rumble following her own injury recovery.
