Elimination Chamber Match Promises to Be “Magical,” Says Wrestling Figure

WWE announced an Unsanctioned Match between Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn for the upcoming Elimination Chamber premium live event on March 1 at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Canada.

The rivalry between the two wrestlers intensified after Zayn lost the Men’s Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match to CM Punk on the February 3 edition of RAW. Following the bout, Owens attacked Zayn and delivered a Package Piledriver. WWE official Adam Pearce subsequently announced the Unsanctioned Match on last week’s Monday night show.

During a conversation on the Poisonrana podcast, Chris Van Vliet shared his thoughts on the upcoming match between the former friends.

I don’t even care how we got here, to be honest. I love that Kevin Owens is so believable in everything that he does. But I really don’t care how we got here, and I don’t care if we have this match 4,000 more times. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens – they are magic every time that they are together, wherever they wrestle.

Van Vliet emphasized the inherent chemistry between Owens and Zayn, suggesting their in-ring performance quality transcends storyline details. The Unsanctioned Match marks the latest chapter in their long-running rivalry, which has spanned multiple promotions throughout their careers.

The Elimination Chamber premium live event will take place in Canada, the home country of both competitors, adding another layer of significance to their confrontation.
