Friction within The Judgment Day intensified on WWE Raw as Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio confronted stablemate Finn Bálor. Mysterio accused Bálor of nearly costing him his championship at the recent Backlash event.
During a backstage segment, Mysterio questioned Bálor’s intentions at Backlash. Bálor dismissed Mysterio’s concerns, suggesting the champion was exhibiting paranoia, similar to Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest during their past title reigns.
At Backlash, while other Judgment Day members attempted to assist Mysterio against Penta, Bálor hesitated at a crucial moment. He then retrieved a steel chair, leading to his ejection from ringside by the referee.
