The Rock will not make a surprise appearance at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event 2025, despite rumors circulating among fans.
The People’s Champion has been absent since Elimination Chamber 2025 and previously opted out of WrestleMania 41 to avoid overshadowing John Cena’s historic 17th world title win.
Currently focused on filming projects – including a new A24 thriller – The Rock confirmed scheduling conflicts during an earlier appearance on The Pat McAfee Show. His production slate leaves no room for a WWE return in the immediate future, dashing hopes for a repeat of his 2024 Bad Blood surprise.
