
AEW wrestler Rebel confirmed a tumor diagnosis and its recent removal, marking a significant health update after an extended period away from televised competition. Despite the successful procedure, Rebel indicated that her recovery is ongoing and necessitates additional surgery.
“It’s not a Tumah ~ Kindegarten Cop. Ok, it is, but it’s out now,” Rebel stated on Instagram regarding her condition, referencing a line from Arnold Schwarzenegger’s film Kindergarten Cop. She further elaborated, “Still healing with another surgery. Trying to get better from when I was hospitalized last May 2024.” Along with the update, Rebel shared a photo captured during her hospitalization.

Rebel was last seen wrestling for AEW on August 21, 2022. Hired by AEW in August 2019, she initially served as a hair and makeup stylist for the promotion, notably working with Britt Baker during her championship reign. Before her AEW tenure, Rebel garnered experience from various wrestling organizations, including TNA, OVW, and Stardom, even making a singular appearance for WWE. She also has a background as a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader.
Rebel’s AEW televised appearances concluded with a match against Anna Jay on Elevation in June 2022. Her AEW in-ring record includes 13 matches, securing wins in dark matches against Gizelle Azure and Vicky Dreamboat. Despite her prolonged absence from AEW programming, Rebel made a return to the ring in February 2024 for GLCW, participating in a tag team bout where she and Harley Cameron defeated the duo of Sophia Rose and Gema.
