Online speculation concerning The Miz’s status with WWE recently gained traction, particularly after he publicly supported R-Truth and eagle-eyed fans noted the absence of “WWE” in some of his social media bios. This generated significant discourse regarding his future with the company.
Addressing the flurry of online rumors, The Miz unequivocally dismissed the speculation during an Instagram update. He advised, “everyone get off of social media and don’t listen to any of it. Because it’s all false. Everything I’ve seen about me is false.” He initially hoped the unfounded rumors would dissipate naturally, stating, “I didn’t want to draw attention to it because if I said something, then it might draw more attention and I just didn’t want that but, it just keeps going.”
The Miz clarified that his social media profiles on X, Instagram, and TikTok have not been recently altered. He specifically noted his Twitter profile, which he stated was last updated approximately five years ago, still reflecting old nomenclature. Furthermore, he emphasized, “I haven’t unfollowed WWE at all. WWE and I are in very good standings.” As evidence of his ongoing involvement, he highlighted the recent release of Miz Golf on WWE’s YouTube channel and his view of Money in the Bank as the year’s most crucial pay-per-view.
