Jacob Fatu completed his anticipated babyface turn at Money in the Bank, viciously betraying his cousin Solo Sikoa during the men’s ladder match and severing his ties with The New Bloodline.
The turn occurred in the chaotic final moments of the match. After Fatu neutralized Bronson Reed with a Samoan Drop, he set up a ladder for what appeared to be a surefire victory for Sikoa. However, as Sikoa began to climb, Fatu grabbed his leg, preventing his ascent.
Realizing the double-cross, Sikoa looked down as Fatu declared, “I hate you,” before pulling him from the ladder and launching a brutal assault. This act effectively removed Sikoa from the match and signaled the end of Fatu’s allegiance to the group.

Fatu and JC Mateo had initially come to the ring to counteract interference from Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker, who were aiding Seth Rollins. The implosion leaves The New Bloodline with only Sikoa and Mateo as active members until Tonga Loa’s return.
