Bryan Danielson has put a stop to any speculation about an imminent in-ring return, confirming that he is not currently medically cleared to wrestle. The announcement clarifies his extended absence from AEW television since losing the AEW World Title to Jon Moxley at Wrestle Dynasty.
The former champion broke his silence on his status during a recent appearance on the Daly Migs Show.
“I don’t know, but right now, I’m not cleared to wrestle,” Danielson revealed. “Even if I wanted to, if I said, ‘Hey, I’m going to be there.’ I will be there in Kent. I will be there live in front of the people, but probably not on television. It’ll just be for the people there live.”
While he will not be competing, Danielson’s statement confirms he is still active in a promotional capacity for the company. His scheduled appearance in Kent will be for the live audience only, not as part of a broadcast.
