Commentator Corey Graves returned to the main roster broadcast team during the June 16 episode of WWE RAW, joining Michael Cole at the announce desk. Graves filled the position previously occupied by Pat McAfee, who was also absent the preceding week. SmackDown’s Wade Barrett had served as the replacement on that occasion.
The move back to the main roster follows a period of notable developments for Graves. On June 7, he handled lead announcer duties for the WWE & AAA Worlds Collide event, working alongside Konnan. That performance was met with a positive reception from both company personnel and the audience.
These recent events cap a turbulent year for the announcer. At the beginning of 2025, Graves was transferred from his main roster role to the NXT brand, where he became a third member of the commentary team with Vic Joseph and Booker T. The reassignment prompted Graves to publicly express his dissatisfaction with the decision on social media, a situation that coincided with him taking a week off from his NXT duties at the time.
