A future match between Becky Lynch and Bayley has been scheduled for the June 23 episode of WWE RAW in Columbus, Ohio. The agreement was reached during a contentious in-ring confrontation on this past Monday’s broadcast from Green Bay, Wisconsin, though Lynch stipulated the match would not be for her Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
The segment began with Bayley addressing the audience, her first time speaking since her return the prior week where she attacked Lynch. Bayley discussed being stripped of a championship opportunity at WrestleMania 41, an act she attributed to an attack by Lynch.
“I put my heart and my soul, everything that I have, into this,” Bayley stated. “But two months ago, I was stripped of a WrestleMania moment.”
Bayley claimed the incident made her stronger and vowed to defeat Lynch. This prompted the champion to emerge, wearing Chicago Bears apparel in front of the Wisconsin crowd. Lynch asserted that Bayley accepts being second-best and that her legacy was more valuable than what she termed Bayley’s “fake-ass friends.”

The exchange escalated when Lynch dismissed the impact of Bayley’s absence from the annual event.
“Nobody gave a damn that you missed WrestleMania,” Lynch said.
Bayley countered by calling Lynch insecure and questioning if the champion remembered what it was like to have genuine fan support. After a back-and-forth regarding their respective careers and championship histories, Lynch accepted the challenge for a non-title bout, which will take place during next week’s show at the Nationwide Arena.
