A singles match on the June 16 episode of WWE RAW was brought to a halt after Liv Morgan sustained an injury. The incident occurred during her scheduled bout against Kairi Sane at the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
The injury happened in the early moments of the contest when Morgan landed awkwardly on her shoulder following a takedown from Sane. Morgan was visibly in distress, prompting WWE medical personnel to attend to her at ringside, which led to the broadcast taking an unscheduled commercial break.
When the show returned, the commentary team confirmed that the match had been stopped due to Morgan’s condition. It was later announced by Michael Cole during the broadcast that Morgan had suffered a dislocated shoulder. She was subsequently helped to the backstage area by officials.

The injury introduces immediate uncertainty regarding the status of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, which Morgan holds. Her partner, Raquel Rodriguez, was also not medically cleared to compete earlier in the evening, which led to Morgan facing Sane in a singles match.
Additionally, the development affects multiple ongoing storylines. A program between Morgan and Nikki Bella, who was slated to appear on the show, is now in question. Morgan had also confronted Women’s World Champion Iyo Sky earlier in the night, establishing a clear challenge for that title. WWE has not issued an official statement regarding the severity of the injury or a timeline for Morgan’s return.
