This change marks a significant shift from earlier in the year. A commentary team reorganization in January 2025 resulted in Graves being moved to the NXT brand, where he joined Vic Joseph and Booker T. The PWInsider report indicates that any previous issues surrounding his move to NXT are now considered largely resolved. Last year, Graves had also provided commentary for Friday Night SmackDown alongside Michael Cole during a prior absence of Pat McAfee.
