Women’s United States Champion Zelina Vega issued a taunting message to the WWE women’s division ahead of this Friday’s broadcast of SmackDown from Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Vega utilized social media to comment on her status as champion, sharing a link to a recent interview. In her post, she addressed her position in the locker room and her success.
“When the smallest girl with the biggest mouth starts making em’ look stupid >>>>>,” she wrote.
Her championship reign began on the April 25 edition of WWE SmackDown, where she secured a victory over Chelsea Green to capture the title. Vega subsequently defended the championship against Green at Saturday Night’s Main Event in May, a match that resulted in Green sustaining a broken nose.

More recently, a new challenger has emerged. Following Vega’s victory over Piper Niven in a Bakersfield Brawl during a broadcast of SmackDown earlier this month, she was attacked by Giulia. The segment concluded with Giulia posing in the ring with the Women’s United States Championship belt. In the aftermath of the incident, Vega has stated her intention to have a conversation with Giulia regarding the assault.
