The reigning RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Champion, Mercedes Mone, will make her return to the promotion on July 25 for its Summer Sizzler event at The Hangar in Wolverhampton. The announcement came via a video package that aired during the Revolution Rumble show at York Hall in London.
Mone is not the only major international star scheduled for the event. RevPro also confirmed that Tetsuya Naito and Bushi will be part of the Summer Sizzler card. This appearance marks their first time competing for the British promotion since the Ungovernable event in 2019. The duo were also previously featured on the joint NJPW/RevPro Global Wars tours between 2016 and 2018.
Mone captured the Undisputed British Women’s Championship from Mina Shirakawa at Wrestle Dynasty in the Tokyo Dome on January 5. She made her in-ring debut for the promotion and first successful title defense against Kanji at High Stakes in Doncaster on April 20.
