He continued his long-running narrative, insisting that Zayn’s “good guy” persona is the very thing preventing him from reaching the top of WWE and becoming a World Champion. This theme has been central to Kross’s taunts, particularly after Zayn’s loss to Randy Orton in the King of the Ring semifinals.
Tired of the repeated verbal jabs, Zayn responded with force. He delivered a sharp slap and followed it with a clean hook, laying Kross out in the middle of the ring.
