AEW CEO Tony Khan announced that former World Champion Swerve Strickland will appear on the February 26 edition of Dynamite after several weeks away from television. The announcement came via social media on February 25, confirming both Strickland and Prince Nana will address fans during the broadcast.
Strickland’s last appearance came during the February 5 episode of Dynamite where he lost to Ricochet in the main event. Following that match, Ricochet took Prince Nana’s Embassy Crown Jewel robe – an item with significant meaning as it was previously worn by the late Jimmy Rave.
Last week on February 19, Prince Nana appeared alone to confront Ricochet about returning the stolen robe. Despite Nana’s efforts to reason with him, Ricochet refused to relinquish the item, deepening the brewing conflict.
