AEW recently added a new match to the All In: Texas event, set to impact the company’s future. During the June 21 episode of AEW Collision, Tony Schiavone announced a Casino Gauntlet match will take place at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, on July 12.
The Casino Gauntlet match is designed for chaos. Competitors enter the ring at regular intervals, but unlike traditional battle royals, the first wrestler to score a pinfall or submission wins. It is a race against time and bodies, where anything can happen. This marks the return of a match type that debuted at All In London in 2024. Christian Cage emerged victorious from that initial bout, which also featured Nigel McGuinness and Ricochet.
The announcement adds even more energy to an already loaded card. AEW is stacking this show with top names and title matches.
The current lineup for All In: Texas includes three major championship matches in addition to the newly announced Casino Gauntlet. Jon Moxley will defend the AEW World Championship against “Hangman” Adam Page. “Timeless” Toni Storm will put her AEW Women’s World Championship on the line against Mercedes Moné. Additionally, Kazuchika Okada, the Continental Champion, will face Kenny Omega, the International Champion, in a “Winner Takes All” Unification Match for the inaugural AEW Unified Championship. Participants for the Casino Gauntlet match will be announced at a later date.
