AEW announced Sin Cara’s return for their March 1 tapings at Oakland Arena. The former WWE competitor last appeared for AEW in November 2024, when he teamed with Private Party to defeat Johnny TV and MxM Collection.

Sin Cara joined AEW in 2023 following his WWE tenure from 2011 to 2014. The announcement marks his first scheduled appearance in 2025.
