
Mercedes Mone has officially completed one year as AEW TBS Champion. She initially captured the title from Willow Nightingale at AEW Double or Nothing 2024 on May 26.
Throughout her year-long reign, Mercedes Mone has successfully defended the TBS Championship 17 times. Her notable victories include matches against Kris Statlander, Hikaru Shida, Britt Baker, Stephanie Vaquer, and Anna Jay. Mercedes Mone also maintains an undefeated record in singles competition within AEW.
At AEW Double or Nothing 2025, Mercedes Mone further solidified her standing by winning the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament, defeating Jamie Hayter in the finals.

Recently, in her newsletter, Mone Magazine, she conveyed that AEW has “reignited her passion and love for professional wrestling.” Mercedes Mone also stated that AEW and Tony Khan provided her the opportunity “to compete among the best women and men in the industry,” which has pushed her to “elevate her performance.” She characterized the past year as one of the most “transformative in her career,” emphasizing her commitment to “leaving a lasting legacy in wrestling.”
