The wrestling icon Sting will appear at Starrcast Texas this July, marking one of his final public engagements before retiring from convention appearances in his signature face paint and gear.
Scheduled for July 11-12 at the Sheraton Arlington Hotel, the fan convention coincides with AEW’s All In weekend in Texas. The 66-year-old Hall of Famer, now officially retired from in-ring competition, continues his “2025 or Never” tour through this special appearance.
Event organizer Conrad Thompson has assembled a stacked roster of wrestling talent alongside Sting. Current AEW champions Jon Moxley and Toni Storm will participate, along with Swerve Strickland, Bryan Danielson, and international star Mina Shirakawa. Legends including Ric Flair and factions like The Hurt Syndicate round out the lineup.
Separately, AEW has added a Thursday night karaoke event to All In week festivities. Thunder Rosa, Konosuke Takeshita, and Powerhouse Hobbs are among those hosting the July 10 gathering at the Champions Ballroom.
While Sting maintains his licensing agreement with AEW, this appearance represents a transitional phase for the Texas resident. After 2024, he’ll no longer appear in character at public events, making Starrcast Texas one of the last opportunities for fans to experience his iconic presentation.
