AEW performer Swerve Strickland recently presented a special gift to WWE’s Big E, sending him a pair of his newly designed signature sneakers. Strickland shared this act of cross-promotional respect on X/Twitter, highlighting the connection between the two former world champions.
The items gifted were from Strickland’s own Reebok Answer 3 sneaker line, which are set to become available for purchase starting May 28. In his social media post, the former AEW World Champion identified Big E as the inaugural recipient of these shoes.

This gesture occurs while Strickland, also known as “The Moghul,” is deeply involved in a storyline within AEW, preparing for a confrontation involving The Death Riders and The Young Bucks at the Double or Nothing 2025 event scheduled for this Sunday. His current issues with Matthew and Nicholas Jackson trace back to their interference in his AEW World Title match against Jon Moxley last month.
Previously, in the preceding year, Strickland had expressed his high regard for Big E. He mentioned that the former WWE Champion, whose in-ring career has been paused due to a significant neck injury, served as a source of motivation for him to continue advancing his own career.
