
Bryan Danielson made an unexpected appearance at the ACTION DEAN! 2 event on May 24, marking his first time inside a wrestling ring since his AEW World Championship match in October 2024, which signified the conclusion of his full-time wrestling tenure with All Elite Wrestling. The popular star’s showing occurred at the first of two tribute shows for Dean Rasmussen, which were announced as a collaboration with AEW.
During his appearance this past weekend, Bryan Danielson made an entrance, stepped into the ring, and shared a hug with Blue Panther. He then addressed the audience with a microphone. In his promo, Bryan Danielson offered high praise for Adam Priest, stating his belief that Priest is the best independent wrestler in the US.
Bryan Danielson has not competed in a match since the October 2024 WrestleDream pay-per-view, where he lost the AEW World Championship to Jon Moxley. That contest was billed as the end of his career as a full-time wrestler.

Regarding the possibility of wrestling again, Bryan Danielson had previously commented that while there is not no chance of a return, his priority is to be able to live comfortably with his wife and children, adding that his neck is “wrecked.” His appearance at ACTION DEAN! 2 took place amidst ongoing speculation from fans regarding his next steps in the wrestling industry.
