Alexa Bliss recently made a significant public appearance at Fanatics Fest in New York, where she paid tribute to Bray Wyatt. She made her entrance accompanied by two young fans, one dressed as a mini-Bliss and the other as a mini-Fiend, to Wyatt’s iconic theme music. This moment marked her first major public event since returning to WWE at the Royal Rumble earlier this year. The company later posted footage of the emotional entrance, captioned:

Following a two-year hiatus, Bliss made her WWE return as a surprise entrant in the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble match in February. She entered at number 21 and Liv Morgan eliminated her from the contest. After the Royal Rumble, Bliss took a short break before joining the SmackDown roster.

Bliss later competed in the Queen of the Ring tournament, securing her spot by winning a Fatal 4-Way match against Charlotte Flair, Alba Fyre, and Candice LeRae. However, Asuka eliminated her in the semifinals on the June 20 episode of SmackDown. Reflecting on her return, Bliss acknowledged the high level of competition within the current women’s roster, stating it has given her “extra drive” to elevate her performance.
Speculation has consistently linked Bliss to The Wyatt Sicks faction due to her previous storyline with the late Windham Rotunda. Creative plans to involve Bliss with the group reportedly faced delays earlier this year following an injury to Bo Dallas, who portrays Uncle Howdy.
During a Fanatics Live signing in June, Bliss addressed these rumors directly, expressing her openness to joining the group in the future.
I think Windham Rotunda said it best when he said we will always be connected in some way. Adding that joining the faction would be awesome down the line. 100 percent.
She also praised her former tag team partner Nikki Cross’s portrayal of Abby The Witch within the faction, calling the character the “perfect amount of scary” and noting that it completes the group’s dynamic.
Bliss’s early 2025 return followed reports of contract negotiation issues with WWE. In January, a planned return alongside The Wyatt Sicks was reportedly scrapped because both sides failed to reach a financial agreement. However, she did make her return at the Royal Rumble and has since maintained an active presence on the SmackDown roster. Her extended absence from WWE began after the Royal Rumble in January 2023. In May 2023, she announced her pregnancy, and she and her husband, Ryan Cabrera, welcomed their daughter, Hendrix, on November 27, 2023.
Beyond her wrestling career, Bliss has ventured into voice acting. She provided English voice work for the Netflix series “Queen of Villains” and also has a role in “Sakamoto Days,” which premiered in January 2025.
