Andrade Defeats Jacob Fatu and Carmelo Hayes to Qualify for MITB

Andrade defeated Carmelo Hayes and Jacob Fatu on WWE SmackDown to qualify for the 2025 Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

Andrade emerged victorious from a triple threat qualifying match on the May 30 episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown, earning his place in the 2025 Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. He overcame Carmelo Hayes and the reigning United States Champion Jacob Fatu to secure the opportunity.

The decisive moment occurred when a ringside altercation involving Solo Sikoa, JC Mateo, and Jimmy Uso distracted Jacob Fatu. Capitalizing on the situation, Andrade executed The Message on Carmelo Hayes for the pinfall victory. This win marks Andrade’s third entry into a WWE Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

With this qualification, Andrade joins LA Knight, Seth Rollins, Solo Sikoa, and Penta as confirmed participants in the high-stakes contest. The 2025 Money in the Bank event is scheduled for June 7 at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, where the winner will receive a contract for a championship match at any time within the next year.

The final competitor for the men’s ladder match will be determined on the upcoming June 2 episode of WWE RAW. On the women’s side, Naomi recently qualified through a triple threat match on SmackDown, with their last qualifier also slated for the same WWE RAW broadcast.
