Another Talent Leaving AEW at the End of the Month

Leyla Hirsch’s tenure with All Elite Wrestling concludes on February 28, 2025, with her contract expiring and the wrestler opting not to re-sign with the organization.

Hirsch first appeared in AEW in October 2020, competing against Hikaru Shida on AEW Dark before making her television debut the following night in an NWA World Women’s Championship match against Serena Deeb.

AEW President Tony Khan confirmed her signing in March 2021 with the standard #AllElite social media announcement, establishing her position on the roster.

Her career faced a significant setback in April 2022 when she suffered a torn ACL during an AEW Dark: Elevation match. This injury sidelined Hirsch for over a year until her June 2023 return, after which she primarily competed in Ring of Honor with occasional appearances on AEW Collision and Rampage.

Hirsch’s final match under the AEW umbrella took place at ROH Final Battle 2024, challenging Red Velvet unsuccessfully for the ROH Women’s World Television Championship.

Her departure adds to AEW’s recent talent exodus, following Malakai Black, Miro, and Ricky Starks, who have all left the company this month.
