Becky Lynch delivered an intense address on the May 12, 2025, edition of WWE Raw in Louisville, Kentucky, signaling a significant shift in her character and intentions. She put the entire WWE women’s locker room on notice.
Lynch proclaimed herself the true victor from her WWE Backlash encounter with Lyra Valkyria, despite not winning the Women’s Intercontinental title. She dismissed Valkyria’s accomplishments and cited fan inability to recognize success as a reason for her previous extended absence.
Adopting a new persona, Lynch stated she would embrace being seen as “greedy, selfish and cut-throat.” She then issued a direct warning to her colleagues in the women’s division.
Lynch asserted that the locker room would now experience what it means to be “held down by The Man.” This promo followed her post-match attack on Valkyria at Backlash.
