London Mayor Sadiq Khan has publicly pitched his city as the next destination for WWE’s flagship event, urging WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque to bring WrestleMania across the Atlantic for the first time.
“I’d love for WrestleMania to come to London,” Khan declared during an appearance on CNBC. “Triple H if you’re watching, we want WrestleMania to come to London.”
The mayor outlined an ambitious vision beyond the typical weekend-long spectacle, promising “a festival of legends, current stars, and future stars” that would transform London into a wrestling epicenter. He emphasized the untapped potential of the European market, stating “it will open a completely new market for them as well.”

Khan positioned London as the natural choice for WWE’s global expansion, calling the city “the sporting capital of the world” during his CNBC interview with Tania Bryer. This marks the second public push from London officials after Khan previously met with WWE executives Nick Khan and Triple H in 2023 to discuss the possibility.
WWE has yet to announce the location for any future WrestleMania events following this year’s edition in Las Vegas. The company has never held its signature event outside North America since its 1985 inception, despite recent international expansions including successful UK stadium shows.
