Charlotte Flair Takes Another Tough Loss on WWE SmackDown

Alexa Bliss advanced in the 2025 Queen of the Ring tournament, pinning Candice LeRae in a multi-competitor match on WWE SmackDown.

Alexa Bliss has advanced to the semifinals of the 2025 Queen of the Ring tournament. Her victory came in a Fatal Four-Way match during the June 13 broadcast of WWE SmackDown from the Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky.

The contest, which took place in the third hour of the show, required a lineup change prior to the bell. Chelsea Green was not present for the event, leading to Alba Fyre being named as her replacement to compete against Bliss, Charlotte Flair, and Candice LeRae.

Throughout the match, Flair was a significant factor, at one point applying a Figure 8 submission to Bliss. The hold was broken by Candice LeRae, who executed a springboard Lionsault. Later, Flair delivered a spear to LeRae, which resulted in a two-count.

The conclusion of the match saw multiple maneuvers occurring simultaneously. While Flair had Fyre trapped in a Figure 8, Bliss executed a Sister Abigail on LeRae and secured the pinfall for the victory.

With this win, Bliss moves forward in the tournament bracket, which was officially unveiled on the June 9 episode of WWE RAW. The ultimate prize for the tournament winner is a world championship match at SummerSlam. The tournament finals are scheduled to take place at Night of Champions on June 28.
