Cody Rhodes Breaks Silence Post-WWE WrestleMania 41 Loss to John Cena

Cody Rhodes discusses his Stardust past during a public appearance, marking his first comments since losing the WWE title to John Cena.

Cody Rhodes made his first public remarks since losing the Undisputed WWE Championship to John Cena at WrestleMania 41, though he avoided addressing the match directly. Instead, Rhodes spoke during a visit to Universal Studios’ new Epic Universe theme park in Orlando with his wife, Brandi Rhodes.

When an interviewer joked about a ride named after his former Stardust persona, Rhodes acknowledged the gimmick as a career low point.

I’m honored. The lowest point in my career has turned into joy for so many people. If it’s going to be named Stardust, I want it to really take us to the fifth dimension.

Rhodes has been absent from WWE programming since the April event, where Cena defeated him under controversial circumstances. Fans remain uncertain when he will return to television.
