Cody Rhodes Makes Appearance Amidst WWE Hiatus

Cody Rhodes, who has been away from WWE programming following WrestleMania 41, recently made a public appearance alongside his wife, Brandi Rhodes. The couple attended the grand opening festivities for the Universal Epic Universe theme park. This outing provides a glimpse into Rhodes’ activities during his current break from the company.

His absence from WWE began after the main event of WrestleMania 41, where John Cena secured the Undisputed WWE Championship from Rhodes, a victory aided by Travis Scott. Since that event, Rhodes has not been featured on any WWE broadcasts.

During the Universal Epic Universe opening, Cody Rhodes participated in an interview featured on the official Universal Orlando Resort YouTube channel. While he did not address his WWE status, Rhodes did speak about a rollercoaster named “Stardust Racers.”

“Well, I’m honored. I truly am honored. The lowest point in my career has turned into joy for so many people,” Rhodes stated regarding the attraction. He added, “What’s funny is the amount of people who have come and been around here and shown their experience on Instagram or Twitter or TikTok or whatever, they all have messaged me individually about this coaster, and we haven’t rode it yet.”

Expressing his anticipation for the ride, Rhodes remarked, “So that’s the big get, is like, if it’s gonna be named Stardust, I want it to really take us to the fifth dimension. I’ve heard nothing but good things.”

Despite his current time away, Rhodes prominently features on promotional materials for the upcoming Money in the Bank event scheduled for June 7, suggesting a potential return to WWE programming. Furthermore, reports indicate that a pitch has been made for Rhodes to participate in either a tag team match or a six-man tag team match at Money in the Bank, potentially facing John Cena, Travis Scott, and Logan Paul.
