Cody Rhodes will appear on this Friday’s SmackDown to deliver his final message ahead of WWE Elimination Chamber. WWE confirmed the Undisputed WWE Champion’s appearance as part of the February 28 broadcast.
The champion’s appearance comes at a crucial time following The Rock’s recent challenge on last week’s SmackDown. The Final Boss asked Rhodes to become “his champion,” setting up a potential response from Rhodes at Elimination Chamber.
Friday’s show features several other notable segments alongside Rhodes’ appearance. Shinsuke Nakamura will defend the United States Championship against LA Knight in what promises to be a high-stakes confrontation. WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus will also appear just days before her tag team match at Elimination Chamber, where she’ll partner with Tiffany Stratton against Nia Jax and Candice LeRae. Additionally, Chelsea Green is scheduled for competition.
