Years after Logan Paul suggested forming a tag team with Dominik Mysterio to generate significant fan reaction, the current Intercontinental Champion has offered his own assessment of Paul. Mysterio shared his thoughts on Bradley Martyn’s Raw Talk podcast.
While acknowledging Paul’s dedication, Mysterio stated, “The fact that Logan has a ring at his house and is actually trying to get in there and get better every day… He had his first match with me… he’s very natural at it.” He characteristically added, “He’s not better than me, but he’s very natural at it.”
Mysterio captured the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 41 and continues to perform as a prominent heel, though he has received increasing cheers from audiences. Paul, on his “Impaulsive” podcast, had previously floated the idea of a partnership.
Mysterio’s recent comments, mixing praise with a competitive edge, maintain intrigue around any potential future interactions between the two. Given their established heel characters and Paul’s earlier expressed desire to team, WWE has multiple storyline avenues, whether an alliance or rivalry, to leverage their considerable public profiles.
