Logan Paul has offered a detailed look at the physical consequences of his high-risk maneuver at the WWE Money in the Bank premium live event. Through his weekly YouTube vlog series, the social media personality shared backstage footage from the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, documenting a severe injury sustained during the show’s main event.
The video captures Paul interacting with WWE medical personnel and displaying a significant gash and swelling on his shin. When asked about the cause, Paul stated, “Uh, the table.” He later elaborated on the pain, remarking, “Yeah, my shin’s all f**cked up, I think.”
A member of the medical team identified the injury as a hematoma, or a “pocket of blood,” and suggested compression and heat to manage the swelling. As the injury was being examined, Paul winced, noting, “It’s like cracked.”

Speaking on a recent episode of his “IMPAULSIVE” podcast, Paul admitted the landing was “brutal” and confessed that in the immediate aftermath, he feared he might have broken both of his shins. He also revealed a pre-match conversation with his partner, John Cena, who expressed significant doubt about the move, telling him, “You can’t make that jump.”
The injury occurred during a tag team match that pitted Paul and Cena against Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso. The bout’s conclusion was marked by the surprise return of R-Truth, whose contract was reportedly not being renewed just days prior. A masked Truth attacked Cena, enabling Rhodes to secure the pinfall victory while Paul was still recovering at ringside from the table crash.
Paul confirmed on his podcast that he was completely unaware of the planned return. “No one told me. I had no clue. I’m lying there like, ‘What the f**k is he doing here!?’” he stated.
Following the event, Paul also addressed fan criticism on TikTok regarding his claim that the springboard moonsault was a “never before seen move” in WWE. He defended his assertion by arguing his version was distinct from past examples due to its precision and the specific risk of landing on a single opponent through a table.
New episodes of Paul’s vlog are released every Wednesday on his official YouTube channel.
