Apollo Crews has not appeared in the ring since SmackDown on January 24. During a match with Johnny Gargano, Crews suffered a torn pec while taking a Backcracker, leading to a quick victory in just over four minutes. He underwent surgery for the injury two weeks ago.
Taking to Instagram Stories, Crews shared a brief but positive update on his recovery progress.

Crews brings significant championship experience to WWE, having captured both the United States and Intercontinental Championships. His United States Championship reign lasted 96 days in 2020, beginning with a victory over Andrade on Raw and concluding with a loss to Bobby Lashley at Payback.
