AEW has confirmed former ECW World Heavyweight Champion Rhino will appear at their upcoming Detroit events on May 7-8. The hardcore wrestling legend, known as “The Man Beast,” will be featured during both nights of programming at the Masonic Temple Theatre.
The appearances will span multiple shows, including the May 7 episode of AEW Dynamite and the following night’s ROH tapings and AEW Collision event. AEW made the announcement via their official Twitter account, promoting Rhino’s return to the Motor City.
Rhino brings championship pedigree from multiple promotions, having held WWE’s United States and Hardcore titles along with ECW’s top prize during his 25+ year career. His Detroit appearances mark his first major wrestling dates since WWE’s 2023 roster cuts.
