The entire field for the 2025 WWE Queen of the Ring tournament was announced during the June 9 episode of WWE RAW, establishing the path for 16 competitors vying for the crown. The tournament officially commenced on the same night, with the finals scheduled to take place at the Night of Champions premium live event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on June 28.
The stakes are significant, as the winner will earn a championship match for their brand’s respective women’s world title at SummerSlam in August. This continues the tradition established in 2024, when tournament winner Nia Jax successfully captured the WWE Women’s Championship at the summer event.

The tournament structure will feature four initial Fatal 4-Way matches, two from each brand. On one side of the bracket, the tournament kicked off with a RAW qualifying match pitting Rhea Ripley against Liv Morgan, Kairi Sane, and Roxanne Perez. The victor of that high-stakes encounter will advance to the semifinals to face the winner of a SmackDown Fatal 4-Way between Jade Cargill, Michin, Piper Niven, and the 2024 winner, Nia Jax.

The other side of the bracket features a compelling SmackDown Fatal 4-Way, where Charlotte Flair will compete against Alexa Bliss, Chelsea Green, and Candice LeRae. A victory for Flair, who has yet to win the tournament despite her “The Queen” moniker, could be a significant step toward her re-entry into the main event picture.
The winner of that match will face the superstar who emerges from the second RAW Fatal 4-Way. This bout will feature the return of Asuka, who is set to battle against IYO SKY’s protégé, Stephanie Vaquer, alongside Raquel Rodriguez and Ivy Nile.
