NXT officials have confirmed Giulia avoided injury despite alarming moments during Tuesday’s #1 contender match against Jordynne Grace. The Japanese wrestler sparked concern after appearing to land on her head during two separate spots in the hard-hitting main event.
According to Bodyslam.net’s Cory Hays, sources within NXT report Giulia is “all good” following medical evaluation. The match determined the next challenger for Stephanie Vaquer’s NXT Women’s Championship, with Grace ultimately securing victory after 12 minutes of intense action.
Giulia later praised Grace on X and expressed interest in a future rematch. Grace now advances to challenge Vaquer at the May 25 Battleground Premium Live Event, while Giulia’s status for upcoming shows remains unaffected by the scare.
